Wholphin (DVD magazine)

Wholphin was a quarterly DVD magazine that showcased short films, documentaries, music videos, and animation. Published by McSweeney's, the project aimed to provide a platform for emerging and established filmmakers outside of traditional distribution channels. Each issue featured a curated collection of diverse and often experimental works, accompanied by supplementary materials such as interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and essays. Wholphin distinguished itself through its high production quality and its commitment to showcasing independent and international cinema. The magazine ceased publication in 2016.
