Zogota

Zogota is an extinct Chadic language formerly spoken in southwestern Chad. It belonged to the Eastern Chadic branch of the Chadic language family. Information about Zogota is sparse, primarily derived from linguistic surveys and ethnographic studies conducted in the region. It is closely related to other nearby Chadic languages, such as Mawa and Mogum. The speakers of Zogota are believed to have shifted to other languages, leading to its eventual extinction.
