Ravenswood (TV series)
Ravenswood was an American supernatural teen drama mystery-thriller television series created by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, and Joseph Dougherty. It aired on ABC Family (later Freeform) from October 22, 2013, to February 4, 2014.
The series is a spin-off of the television series Pretty Little Liars and is set in the fictional town of Ravenswood, Pennsylvania. Ravenswood follows five strangers whose lives become intertwined by a deadly curse that has plagued their town for generations. These five teenagers – Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn), Miranda Collins (Nicole Gale Anderson), Remy Beaumont (Britne Oldford), Olivia Matheson (Merritt Patterson), and Luke Matheson (Brett Dier) – must dig into Ravenswood's dark history to break the curse and survive.
Caleb arrives in Ravenswood to help his girlfriend Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) uncover information about Alison DiLaurentis, and soon becomes entangled in the mysteries of the town. Miranda, a foster child, seeks out her only living relative in Ravenswood but finds more than she bargained for. Remy, a local newspaper reporter, investigates the strange occurrences in Ravenswood, while twins Olivia and Luke struggle to cope with the recent loss of their father and a town that seems to be hiding something.
Throughout its single season, Ravenswood explored themes of destiny, loss, family secrets, and the supernatural. The series was canceled after one season due to low ratings.
