Vice admiral (India)
Vice Admiral is a three-star rank in the Indian Navy. It is equivalent to a Lieutenant General in the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force. Vice Admirals are senior officers who hold important command and staff appointments within the Navy.

- Chief of Personnel (COP) - responsible for the manpower and personnel aspects of the Navy.
