Trimmis

Trimmis is a municipality in the district of Landquart in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is located in the Chur Rhine Valley, about 5 kilometers north of Chur.

The municipality's history dates back to the Roman era, with evidence of settlements found in the area. It was later part of the Lordship of Rhäzüns and subsequently came under the control of the Three Leagues in the 15th century.

Trimmis's economy is primarily based on agriculture, tourism, and small businesses. The area offers hiking and skiing opportunities, particularly in the nearby Brambrüesch mountain area, accessible from Chur.

The official language of Trimmis is German. The majority of the population is Protestant.
