Touching Home (film)

Touching Home is a 2008 American sports drama film directed by Logan Miller and written by Jimীন & Logan Miller. The film stars Ed Harris, Brad Pitt (credited as Executive Producer), and Michael Arata.

The film tells the story of two brothers, based on the real-life Millers, who struggle with poverty and a dysfunctional relationship with their alcoholic father. One brother is a talented baseball player with a chance to make it to the major leagues. As the opportunity arises, their father's health deteriorates, forcing the brothers to confront their past and make difficult choices about their future and family obligations.

The film explores themes of family, forgiveness, and the challenges of overcoming adversity. It was filmed in and around Salinas, California, drawing on the filmmakers' personal experiences growing up in the area. While Brad Pitt contributed as an executive producer, his on-screen presence is limited.
