Volumia!

Volumia! was a Dutch pop group active from 1993 to 2002. The band, known for its melodic songs and the distinctive voice of singer Xander de Buisonjé, achieved considerable success in the Netherlands during the late 1990s. Their music blended pop sensibilities with elements of soul and R&B, appealing to a broad audience.

Volumia! released several albums, achieving platinum sales and numerous hit singles. Their popularity stemmed not only from their recorded music but also from their energetic live performances. They were a regular fixture on the Dutch festival circuit during their active years.

The group disbanded in 2002, with individual members pursuing various solo projects and other musical endeavors. Xander de Buisonjé, in particular, went on to have a successful solo career, remaining a prominent figure in the Dutch entertainment industry. While Volumia! is no longer active, their music continues to be played on Dutch radio stations, and they are remembered as a significant act in the landscape of Dutch pop music of the 1990s.
