The Hoobs
The Hoobs is a British pre-school children's television series that aired on Channel 5 from 2001 to 2003. It was created by Ragdoll Productions, the same company responsible for Teletubbies.
The show centers around five creatures called Hoobs: Iver, Tula, Groove, Roma, and Hubba Hubba. They live in the Hoobledoob and embark on adventures to learn about the world around them and find out "What's the Thing Today?". Each episode typically involves the Hoobs seeking out an answer to their daily question through observation, interaction with humans (referred to as "Tiddlypeeps"), and songs.
The Hoobs are characterized by their colorful appearance, distinctive voices, and childlike curiosity. The series aims to educate young children about various concepts through play, music, and storytelling. Key themes include friendship, problem-solving, and exploration.
