Feteira (Horta)

Feteira is a parish (Portuguese: freguesia) in the municipality of Horta, located on the island of Faial in the Azores archipelago of Portugal. Situated on the western coast of the island, Feteira is primarily a rural and agricultural community.

The name "Feteira" likely derives from the Portuguese word "feto," meaning fern, alluding to the prevalence of ferns in the area when it was initially settled.

The parish is characterized by its green landscapes, traditional Azorean architecture, and views of the Atlantic Ocean.
