Tempted (TV series)
Tempted (Korean: 템프트; RR: Tempeu-teu) is a 2018 South Korean television series starring Kim So-hyun, Moon Ga-young, Woo Do-hwan, and Red Velvet's Joy. It aired on MBC from March 12 to May 1, 2018, on Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 (KST) for 32 episodes. The series is a modern adaptation of the classic French novel Dangerous Liaisons.
Synopsis
The drama revolves around four young adults entangled in a web of love, betrayal, and revenge. Choi Soo-ji (Kim So-hyun) is a woman with a tragic past who seeks revenge on the wealthy Kwon family for the destruction of her family. She forms an alliance with the charming and manipulative Kwon Si-hyun (Woo Do-hwan), who also harbors his own hidden motives and desires. Their manipulative games of love and seduction involve Eun Tae-hee (Moon Ga-young), the kind and innocent daughter of a chaebol family, and Kang In-soo (Park Soo-joon), who holds a hidden crush on Tae-hee. As they navigate their complex relationships, the characters discover the consequences of their actions and the true meaning of love and forgiveness.
