Falling Angels (film)

Falling Angels is a 2003 Canadian drama film directed by Scott Smith, based on the 1993 novel of the same name by Barbara Gowdy. The film stars Kelly Rowan, Wendy Crewson, Miranda Richardson, Callum Keith Rennie, and Kristin Booth.

The story revolves around the Field family in the 1950s. Mary Field (Rowan) struggles with her stifling marriage to Norm (Rennie) and her repressed desires. Her mother, Norma (Crewson), grapples with her own changing roles as a woman in a rapidly evolving society.
