James Gray (footballer, born 1992)

James Gray (born 18 January 1992) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker.

Career

Gray began his professional career with Middlesbrough, progressing through their youth academy. He didn't make a senior appearance for Middlesbrough, and spent time on loan at Darlington during the 2011-12 season. He then joined Kettering Town on loan.

Following his release from Middlesbrough, Gray signed for Stevenage in the summer of 2012. He made his professional debut for Stevenage in August 2012. During his time at Stevenage, he also had loan spells at Tamworth, Hayes & Yeading United and Accrington Stanley.

In 2014, Gray joined Wrexham. He spent two seasons with the Welsh club, making numerous appearances in the National League.

After leaving Wrexham, Gray has played for various clubs in non-league football, including Southport, Torquay United, and York City. He has also played for clubs outside of England in subsequent years. His career has seen him move between different leagues within the United Kingdom and abroad.

International Career

Gray has represented Scotland at the Under-19 level.
