James Bailey (basketball)

James Bailey (basketball) was an American professional basketball player. He was a 6'9" power forward/center.

Career: Bailey played college basketball for Rutgers University, where he was a prominent player. He was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics in the first round (6th overall) of the 1979 NBA draft. He played in the NBA for eight seasons, primarily with the Seattle SuperSonics, Phoenix Suns, and Cleveland Cavaliers. His NBA career spanned from 1979 to 1987.
