Tegernau
Tegernau is a village and former municipality in the district of Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located in the Wiesental valley, approximately 10 kilometers northeast of Lörrach.
Historically, Tegernau was an independent municipality. In 1975, it was incorporated into the municipality of Kleines Wiesental. Following the dissolution of Kleines Wiesental in 2009, Tegernau became part of the newly formed municipality of Wies.
The village is situated in a rural, hilly landscape. Its economy is primarily based on agriculture and tourism. Tegernau is known for its traditional architecture and local customs.
