Kidiliz
Kidiliz was a French multinational company specializing in children's fashion. It designed, manufactured, and distributed clothing, shoes, and accessories for children from newborn to 16 years old.
The Kidiliz Group owned and operated several brands, including:
- Catimini: Known for its colorful, artistic, and internationally inspired designs for children.
- Absorba: Specializing in comfortable and practical babywear and children's basics.
- Z: A brand offering trendy and accessible fashion for kids.
- Chipie: A brand with a focus on denim and casual wear for children.
- Lili Gaufrette: Characterized by its classic French style, featuring delicate prints and high-quality fabrics.
- IKKS Junior: An extension of the IKKS brand, offering more mature and fashion-forward styles for older children and teenagers.
In addition to its own brands, the Kidiliz Group also held licenses to produce and distribute children's clothing for other well-known brands.
The company operated a network of retail stores, department store concessions, and online channels worldwide.
In late 2018, the Chinese group Semir acquired the Kidiliz Group. Subsequently, in 2020, it was announced that Semir was divesting from the Kidiliz brands due to financial difficulties. The eventual fate of all Kidiliz brands varies; some brands like Catimini were saved by new owners, while others like Chipie have ceased operation.
