Kebirita

Kebirita is a hypothetical genus of extinct euornithopods dinosaurs. The name appeared in a 1995 abstract by Michael K. Brett-Surman describing a skull found in the Early Cretaceous Cloverly Formation of Montana, USA. The skull was considered to be similar to Tenontosaurus but with some notable differences. However, this genus and species has never been formally published or described according to the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN) rules. Therefore, Kebirita is currently considered a nomen nudum, meaning "naked name." It lacks the required descriptive information to be considered a valid scientific name. The skull referred to as Kebirita is believed by some paleontologists to potentially represent a juvenile specimen of Tenontosaurus tilletti, or a closely related, but previously unrecognized species within the Tenontosaurus genus. Its exact taxonomic status remains uncertain pending further research and formal publication of the original find.
