Tangalan is a municipality in the province of Aklan, Philippines. It is located on the island of Panay.
Geography: Tangalan is situated along the northwestern coast of Aklan. Its terrain is characterized by a mix of coastal plains, rolling hills, and mountainous areas inland.
History: Tangalan was originally a part of the municipality of Ibajay. It was established as an independent municipality on June 21, 1959, by virtue of Republic Act No. 2544.
