Tony Blake (English footballer)

Tony Blake is an English former professional footballer. Blake, a midfielder, played in the Football League during the 1970s and 1980s for several clubs.

Blake's career began at Birmingham City, where he progressed through the youth ranks but struggled to establish himself in the first team. Seeking more playing opportunities, he moved to Plymouth Argyle.

He is perhaps best remembered for his time at Plymouth Argyle, where he became a regular player and was known for his hard work and tackling ability in midfield. He made a significant number of appearances for the Pilgrims during his tenure.
