Leyviller

Leyviller is a commune in the Moselle department in Grand Est in northeastern France. It is part of the arrondissement of Sarreguemines and the canton of Sarralbe. The village is located approximately 12 kilometers east of Sarralbe and about 15 kilometers south of Sarreguemines. The inhabitants are called Leyvillerois(es). The commune's area is approximately 7.25 square kilometers, and its population is primarily rural. Historically, the village has been tied to the Lorraine region and has experienced periods of German influence. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture.
