Stradey
Stradey Park was a rugby union stadium located in Llanelli, Wales. It was the home of Llanelli RFC and the Scarlets regional team. Stradey Park was renowned for its passionate atmosphere and was often referred to as "the home of Welsh rugby" due to Llanelli's historical significance within the sport.
The stadium hosted numerous international matches, including Wales games and Rugby World Cup fixtures. Stradey Park closed in 2008 and was replaced by Parc y Scarlets, a modern stadium located nearby. The final match at Stradey Park was played on October 24, 2008, against Bristol. The ground was subsequently demolished. Despite its demolition, Stradey Park holds a special place in the history of Welsh rugby and is fondly remembered by fans.
