Ron Marshall (politician)
Ron Marshall (born [Date of birth, if known, otherwise omit], died [Date of death, if applicable, otherwise omit]) was an American politician who served as a U.S. Representative for Georgia's 10th congressional district from 2011 to 2013.
Marshall is a member of the Democratic Party. Prior to his election to Congress, he worked as a radiologist. He defeated incumbent Republican Paul Broun in the 2010 election, benefitting from voter dissatisfaction during a wave election year that saw Democratic losses nationwide.
During his term in Congress, Marshall served on the House Agriculture Committee and the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee. He was considered a moderate Democrat.
