Spitboy
Spitboy was an American hardcore punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area, active from 1990 to 1995. Known for their aggressive sound and explicitly feminist lyrics, the band comprised Adrienne Droogas (vocals), Paula Frazer (vocals, guitar), Dominique Davison (bass), and Michelle Serpas (drums).
Spitboy's music addressed a range of social and political issues, including sexism, homophobia, and class inequality. Their performances were often energetic and confrontational, reflecting the urgency of their message. They released several EPs and LPs, including "Spitboy" (1991), "Rasana" (1993), and "Pussy Power" (1993). The band toured extensively, playing at venues across the United States and internationally.
