Slough (UK Parliament constituency)

Slough is a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2019 by Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi of the Labour Party.

History

The constituency was created in 1983 from parts of the former Eton and Slough constituency, and the Beaconsfield constituency. It has been held by the Labour Party for most of its existence, with the exception of the period between 2015 and 2017 when it was held by Fiona Mactaggart of the Conservative Party.

Boundaries

The constituency covers the majority of the borough of Slough in Berkshire. It comprises the following electoral wards: Britwell, Central, Chalvey, Cippenham Green, Cippenham Meadows, Colnbrook with Poyle, Foxborough, Haymill, Langley Kedermister, Langley St Mary's, Upton, Wexham Lea.

  • David Rowntree (Green Party): 619 votes
