Sexsational (Tony Thompson album)
Sexsational is the debut and only studio album by American R&B singer Tony Thompson, released on September 24, 1996, by Giant Records. The album features production from Tim & Bob, Teddy Riley, and Daryl Simmons, among others.
The album spawned the single "I Wanna Love Like That," which reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Other singles released from the album include "Come As You Are" and "Gotta Get You Home."
While Sexsational received moderate success with its lead single, the album itself did not achieve widespread commercial success. It is notable as Thompson's only solo release before his passing in 2007. The album is considered a product of the mid-1990s New Jack Swing and R&B sound.
