Seville (Parliament of Andalusia constituency)

Seville is one of the eight constituencies (Spanish: circunscripciones) electing members to the Parliament of Andalusia, the unicameral legislature of the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It corresponds to the province of Seville and elects 18 parliamentarians using the D'Hondt method and a closed-list proportional representation system. Prior to 2010, it elected 17 members. The constituency was established in 1982 following the approval of the Statute of Autonomy of Andalusia. Its boundaries have remained coterminous with the province of Seville since its inception. Historically, it has been a stronghold for the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE-A).
