Serhiy Rybalka (politician)
Serhiy Rybalka (born April 1, 1978, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian politician, economist, and financial expert. He served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation (2014-2019), representing the Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko.
Rybalka held the position of Chairman of the Committee on Financial Policy and Banking Activity in the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine during his tenure. His legislative work primarily focused on banking sector reform, financial stability, and consumer protection in the financial services market. He was actively involved in drafting and promoting legislation related to debt restructuring, bank deposit guarantees, and the regulation of non-bank financial institutions.
