Wiltz (river)

The Wiltz is a river flowing through Luxembourg and Belgium. It is a left tributary of the Sauer (Sûre).

The Wiltz rises in Belgium, near Bastogne. It then flows through Luxembourg, passing through the towns of Wiltz and Kautenbach before joining the Sauer at Goebelsmühle. The river's length is approximately 42 kilometers (26 miles). The Wiltz valley is a significant geographical feature in the northern part of Luxembourg, influencing the landscape and local ecosystems. The region surrounding the river is characterized by rolling hills and forested areas.
