Scheimer
Scheimer is often recognized as a surname, most notably associated with Lou Scheimer (1928-2013), an American animation producer. He was a co-founder of Filmation, a production company known for its animated television series from the late 1960s through the 1980s. Filmation produced popular cartoons such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, She-Ra: Princess of Power, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, Star Trek: The Animated Series, and The Archie Show. As a result of Scheimer's role in Filmation, the name "Scheimer" can sometimes evoke nostalgia for the animation of that era.
