Sarapuí

Sarapuí is a municipality located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is part of the Itapetininga Microregion. The municipality's estimated population in 2020 was 9,790 inhabitants. Sarapuí covers an area of approximately 354.76 square kilometers.

The region's economy is primarily based on agriculture, with significant production of corn, soybeans, and sugarcane. Cattle raising also plays a role in the local economy.

Sarapuí is known for its relatively peaceful and rural atmosphere. It is situated approximately 145 kilometers southwest of the state capital, São Paulo. The municipality experiences a humid subtropical climate, characterized by warm summers and mild winters.
