Sadalas I
Sadalas I (Ancient Greek: Σαδάλας) was a king of the Thracian Odrysian kingdom during the 1st century BC. He succeeded Cotys IV, although the exact dates of his reign are uncertain. He is primarily known through historical accounts related to Roman involvement in Thrace. Sadalas I allied with the Romans, particularly during the early years of the Roman civil war between Pompey and Caesar. His support was valued by Pompey. Later, the Odrysian kingdom under Sadalas I came under increasing Roman influence. He was succeeded by his son, Sadalas II.
