Lazio has won the Serie A title twice (1973–74, 1999–2000), the Coppa Italia seven times (1958, 1997–98, 1999–2000, 2003–04, 2008–09, 2012–13, 2018–19), and the Supercoppa Italiana five times (1998, 2000, 2009, 2017, 2019). On the European stage, Lazio won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1998–99 and the UEFA Super Cup in 1999.
The club's home stadium is the Stadio Olimpico, which they share with their city rivals, AS Roma. The rivalry between Lazio and Roma is one of the most intense in Italian football and is known as the Derby della Capitale (Derby of the Capital).
Lazio's traditional colours are sky blue and white. The club's nickname is I Biancocelesti (the White and Sky Blues). The club's badge features a golden eagle, taken from the symbol of ancient Rome and referencing the Olympic Games, as Lazio was founded in the Prati district of Rome.
Historically, Lazio has had periods of success and periods of financial difficulty. The club has produced many notable players throughout its history, and continues to be a significant force in Italian football.
