Rusi Modi

Rusi Modi (born 1918, died 2014) was an Indian cricketer and administrator. He played first-class cricket for Bombay and represented India in Test matches in the 1940s. A right-handed batsman, Modi was known for his elegant style and prolific run-scoring in domestic cricket.

Following his playing career, Modi became a prominent cricket administrator, holding various positions within the Bombay Cricket Association (BCA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He contributed significantly to the development of cricket infrastructure and talent in the Mumbai region. He was also involved in managing corporate affairs and was a well-respected figure in Indian business circles.
