Ross Hunter (politician)

Ross Hunter (born February 13, 1961) is an American politician and businessman from Washington state. He served as a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 48th legislative district, which includes parts of Bellevue and Kirkland, from 2003 to 2016.

Hunter was known for his work in areas such as education, technology, and healthcare policy. He served on several committees during his tenure, including the House Appropriations Committee and the House Finance Committee. He was a vocal advocate for increased funding for public schools and for policies aimed at promoting innovation and economic development in the technology sector.

Prior to his service in the legislature, Hunter worked in the software industry. He is a graduate of Stanford University. After leaving the House of Representatives, Hunter became involved in philanthropic activities focused on education and community development.
