Rojhuwas
Rojhuwas is a village development committee (VDC) located in the Rautahat District of Province No. 2 in southern Nepal. It is part of the Terai region of the country, characterized by its flat, fertile land and subtropical climate. Rojhuwas, like many VDCs in Nepal, is comprised of several smaller settlements and agricultural lands. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture, with rice, wheat, and various other crops being the main produce. Infrastructure, including roads, schools, and healthcare facilities, may vary in quality and accessibility within the VDC. Administratively, Rojhuwas functions under the governance of the Rautahat District and is subject to the policies and programs implemented by the Nepalese government. The population of Rojhuwas, as recorded in past censuses, reflects a diverse mix of ethnic and linguistic groups common to the Terai region. As Nepal transitions towards a federal structure, VDCs like Rojhuwas are being reorganized into municipalities and rural municipalities, which may alter the administrative structure and resource allocation within the area.
