South of Santa Fe (1932 film)

South of Santa Fe is a 1932 American pre-Code Western film directed by Bert Glennon and starring Bob Steele, Rosita Lawrence, and Louis Natheaux. The film focuses on a rancher who becomes an outlaw to protect his land from unscrupulous businessmen.

The plot revolves around Bob Blaine (Bob Steele), a rancher who is framed for a crime he didn't commit. He is forced to go on the run and adopts the persona of an outlaw to fight back against the corrupt town officials and land grabbers who are trying to steal his property and that of his neighbors. Rosita (Rosita Lawrence) plays the romantic interest, and provides support to Bob in his fight for justice. Louis Natheaux plays a key antagonist.
