Roger Bailey (baseball)
Roger Bailey (born August 21, 1969) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1996-1999), New York Mets (2000-2001), Boston Red Sox (2002), and Colorado Rockies (2003). Primarily a starting pitcher, Bailey was known for his control and ability to locate pitches. He finished his MLB career with a record of 36 wins and 45 losses, and a career ERA of 4.76. Before reaching the major leagues, he played college baseball at the University of Tennessee. Since retiring from professional baseball, Bailey has been involved in coaching and scouting.
