Houssay (crater)

Houssay is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the southwest of the larger craterчної Pasteur, and southeast of Backlund.

Houssay is a relatively eroded crater, with a rounded outer rim that has been somewhat softened by subsequent impacts. Smaller craters lie along the rim, including a notable one along the northeastern edge. The interior floor is relatively level and marked by a few small craterlets.

The crater is named after Argentine physiologist and Nobel laureate Bernardo Houssay.
