Jack Hunt (footballer)
Jack Hunt (born 6 December 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right-back.
Career
Hunt began his career with Huddersfield Town, progressing through their youth academy before making his professional debut in 2009. He had loan spells with Grays Athletic, Chesterfield, and Accrington Stanley to gain first-team experience. He established himself as a regular for Huddersfield Town, helping them achieve promotion to the Championship in 2012.
In August 2013, Hunt joined Crystal Palace. He struggled to break into the first team at Selhurst Park and subsequently spent time on loan with Barnsley, Nottingham Forest, and Rotherham United.
In January 2016, Hunt signed for Sheffield Wednesday. He became a key player for the Owls, featuring regularly in their defence.
Following his time at Sheffield Wednesday, Hunt joined Bristol City in July 2019.
In July 2021, he moved to Sheffield Wednesday for a second spell.
On 20 January 2023, Hunt signed for League Two side Oldham Athletic until the end of the season.
In July 2023, Hunt signed for Swindon Town.
