Diamantino (film)

Diamantino is a 2018 Portuguese fantasy comedy film directed by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt. The film stars Carloto Cotta as Diamantino, a world-famous but naive Portuguese football superstar whose career takes a sharp turn after he loses his special touch.

The film follows Diamantino's journey as he becomes entangled in various schemes, including a right-wing conspiracy involving genetic modification and a refugee resettlement plan. He also unwittingly becomes the subject of tax fraud and is placed under the care of two lesbian agents disguised as his adoptive sons.
