Chris Martin (footballer, born 1990)
Chris Martin (born 4 November 1990) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bristol Rovers.
Martin began his career at Norwich City, progressing through their youth system. During his time with Norwich, he had loan spells at Luton Town, Crystal Palace, Swindon Town and Crawley Town. He left Norwich in 2013 to join Derby County, where he spent several seasons and enjoyed significant success, becoming a key player for the Rams.
After Derby, he played for Fulham, initially on loan and later permanently. He also had loan spells at Reading and Hull City while contracted to Derby. In 2020, Martin joined Bristol City, playing there until 2022 when he moved to Queens Park Rangers. He joined Bristol Rovers in 2023.
Martin has represented Scotland at international level, making his debut in 2014.
