Darren Smith (footballer, born 1980)

Darren Smith (born 26 November 1980) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He primarily played as a midfielder.

Smith began his career with Dundee, making his debut in the Scottish Premier League. He had spells with several Scottish clubs including Raith Rovers, Ross County, and Brechin City. During his time at Ross County, he was part of the squad that reached the Scottish Cup final in 2010. He also played for clubs in the Scottish lower leagues. His career was affected by a number of injuries, and he retired from professional football in the mid-2010s. Following his retirement, he has been involved in coaching roles at youth level.
