Power Trip (music festival)

Power Trip was a three-day heavy metal and hard rock music festival held in Indio, California, from October 6-8, 2023. The festival was produced by Goldenvoice, the same company behind Coachella and Stagecoach. Power Trip featured a lineup of six iconic bands: Guns N' Roses and Iron Maiden on Friday, October 6th; AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne (who ultimately cancelled due to health concerns and was replaced by Judas Priest) on Saturday, October 7th; and Metallica and Tool on Sunday, October 8th.

The festival took place at the Empire Polo Club, the same venue as Coachella and Stagecoach. It offered a variety of food and beverage options, merchandise vendors, and art installations. Camping and hotel packages were also available.

Power Trip was notable for bringing together some of the biggest names in heavy metal and hard rock, many of whom hadn't performed together in years. It was considered a significant event for fans of the genre and received considerable media attention due to the star power of its lineup and the speculation surrounding potential reunion performances.
