Robert MacFarlane (Canadian politician)

Robert MacFarlane (1835 – 1923) was a Canadian politician. He served as a Liberal Member of Parliament representing Perth South in the House of Commons of Canada from 1875 to 1878 and again from 1882 to 1887. Born in Scotland, he immigrated to Canada and became a merchant and farmer in Perth County, Ontario. He was also a prominent member of the local community, serving on the county council. MacFarlane ran unsuccessfully for the Ontario Legislative Assembly in the 1871 provincial election. He died in Stratford, Ontario.
