Frederick Hughes (footballer)

Frederick Hughes (born c. 1910s, date of death unknown) was an English professional footballer who played as a full-back.

Hughes began his career with Tottenham Hotspur, joining the club from non-league football in October 1935. He made a handful of appearances for the Spurs first team before moving to Gillingham in August 1937. He made 64 appearances for Gillingham in the Football League before the outbreak of the Second World War. His career was then interrupted by the war. Details of his career after the war, if any, are currently unconfirmed.
