Glen Lui

Glen Lui is a glen in the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. It is formed by the Lui Water, a tributary of the River Dee. The glen is situated to the west of Braemar and is a popular location for hiking and walking, offering access to various Munros and other peaks in the southern Cairngorms. The landscape is characterized by a mix of native pinewoods, open moorland, and rugged mountains. Notable features include the Derry Lodge, a former shooting lodge, and the surrounding ancient Caledonian pine forest, part of the wider Mar Lodge Estate. Glen Lui forms a significant part of the natural heritage of the Cairngorms.
