The EP features the title track "Ah Yeah," which gained significant popularity and further solidified EXID's status as a rising group in the K-pop scene.
The Ah Yeah EP consists of seven tracks, showcasing EXID's signature blend of catchy melodies, strong vocals, and rap verses. It builds upon the success of their previous breakthrough hit, "Up & Down," by maintaining a similar stylistic approach while also exploring new sonic territories. Beyond the title track, the EP includes other songs that highlight different aspects of the group's musicality. The lyrics across the album touch upon themes of love, relationships, and self-assurance, often with a playful and assertive tone. The production of the EP was handled by Shinsadong Tiger, who had previously collaborated with EXID on "Up & Down," along with other contributing producers.
Ah Yeah was commercially successful, topping the Gaon Album Chart in South Korea. The title track also achieved significant digital sales and charted well on various music streaming platforms. The EP's success contributed significantly to EXID's rising fame and recognition within the K-pop industry.
