Riddrie

Riddrie is a district in the east end of Glasgow, Scotland. Situated approximately four miles east of Glasgow city centre, it is primarily a residential area.

Riddrie is bordered by the districts of Cranhill to the east, Carntyne to the south, Dennistoun to the west, and Stepps (North Lanarkshire) to the north. It is largely defined by the M8 motorway which runs along its southern edge and the Monkland Canal which forms part of its northern boundary.

The area is characterized by a mix of housing types, including tenements, terraced houses, and more modern developments. Several local amenities, including shops, schools, and parks, serve the needs of the residents. Public transport links are available via bus services, providing access to Glasgow city centre and surrounding areas.
