Richard Brooks (actor)

Richard Brooks (born December 7, 1962) is an American actor best known for his roles in television and film.

Brooks is recognized for his portrayal of Assistant District Attorney Paul Robinette on the NBC legal drama Law & Order from 1990 to 1993, and reprised the role in several subsequent Law & Order franchise series.

His film credits include appearances in To Sleep with Anger (1990), Deep Cover (1992), Johnny B. Good (1988), and The Crow: City of Angels (1996).

In addition to his on-screen work, Brooks has directed episodes of television shows, including Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He has also appeared in numerous stage productions. He is a graduate of Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.
