Ray Evans (footballer, born 1929)
Ray Evans (born 28 December 1929) was a Welsh professional footballer who played as a full-back.
Evans began his career with Swansea Town in 1947, making his debut in 1948. He went on to make over 200 league appearances for the club during a ten-year spell.
In 1957, Evans joined Hereford United. He spent one season with the Bulls before moving to Haverfordwest County in 1958. He remained with Haverfordwest until his retirement from professional football.
