Sugababes
Sugababes were a British girl group formed in 1998. Through multiple line-up changes, the group achieved six UK number-one singles: "Freak like Me", "Round Round", "Hole in the Head", "Push the Button", "Walk This Way" (with Girls Aloud) and "About You Now". They also achieved considerable international success.
The original lineup consisted of Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena, and Keisha Buchanan. This trio released their debut album, One Touch, in 2000, which spawned the hit single "Overload". Donaghy left the group in 2001 and was replaced by Heidi Range. This lineup, consisting of Buena, Buchanan, and Range, released four studio albums: Angels with Dirty Faces (2002), Three (2003), Taller in More Ways (2005), and Change (2007).
Buena left the group in December 2005, shortly after the release of Taller in More Ways, and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. This lineup, featuring Buchanan, Range, and Berrabah, released two studio albums: Catfights and Spotlights (2008) and Sweet 7 (2010).
In September 2009, Keisha Buchanan, the only remaining original member, was replaced by Jade Ewen. This new lineup, consisting of Range, Berrabah, and Ewen, continued to perform as Sugababes until 2011.
In 2012, the original lineup of Donaghy, Buena, and Buchanan reunited under the name Mutya Keisha Siobhán (MKS), eventually regaining the rights to the Sugababes name. They released the single "Flatline" in 2013. In 2019, the original Sugababes line-up embarked on tours and announced they were re-recording their debut album. They released The Lost Tapes in 2022, an album comprised of unreleased material recorded during their original tenure.
